Welcome to The Booming Journey

We are Ella and Geert, two ‘bon-vivants’ who decided to turn our dreams into reality in late 2018.

Actually, it wasn’t just a fleeting idea, because it was a deep longing to follow our hearts and completely reimagine our lives.

Fast forward to the summer of 2020. First, we sold our house and said goodbye to our jobs.

Then, we embraced the unknown and took our first steps into a new life on September 3rd. This new chapter is filled with freedom, adventure, and the thrill of discovery.

Now, we are four continents and countless memories later. Therefore, we are excited to share our journey with you, including the ups, the downs, and all the magic in between.

We are Ella and Geert, we are the booming journey

Since 2020, Ella and Geert have been on an endless love affair with the world. Our journey began because we longed for a healthier lifestyle. Specifically, we wanted to focus on travel, adventure, personal growth, and well-being for both body and mind. Currently, we have no house to tie us down and no fixed location to call home. Instead, we have committed ourselves to this beautiful, unpredictable lifestyle in search of ultimate freedom. Furthermore, every new place feels like the beginning of a great love story.
