Hong Kong

“Feel the energy and diversity of Hong Kong: where tradition and modernity come together.”

Hong Kong

In 2018, we visited Hong Kong together for the first time. For Geert, however, it was not a first: he had already been there in 2012 with his good friend Brian, visiting their mutual friend Frank. That trip was unforgettable for many reasons. In 2018, Geert returned, this time with Ella, of course, for a very special occasion: the wedding of Lui and Frank. A celebration full of love, culture, and unforgettable moments in this vibrant city.

Fast forward to 2024. During our summer holiday in the Netherlands, we saw Frank and Lui again, which brought back all those vivid memories of Hong Kong.

So when we found ourselves near Hong Kong during our Asia tour, we could not pass up the chance to visit again. In November 2024, we spent three fantastic days in this fascinating metropolis. From reliving old memories to discovering new places, it was the perfect blend of friendship and adventure.

Hong Kong continues to inspire us and always evokes that irresistible urge to return. What are your favorite memories of Hong Kong? Share them with us! And if you haven’t been yet, let this page with valuable information and tips inspire you to discover Hong Kong.
