“Japan: Where Timeless Tradition Meets Modern Marvels”

Discover Japan, a country that has long captured the world’s imagination with its fascinating blend of ancient culture, modern innovation, and breathtaking landscapes. For us, Japan had been high on our wish list for years, and in September and October 2024, we finally had the chance to experience it for ourselves.

Despite our many travels, Japan always seemed to be postponed. But when we started planning our Asia tour for the end of 2024, we knew this was the moment to make it happen. We spent one unforgettable month exploring the country, and although that was not nearly enough time to see it all, we created a well-balanced itinerary that combined discovery, cultural immersion, and moments to simply enjoy.

One of the highlights was fulfilling our dream of traveling by campervan. For ten days, we explored central Japan at our own pace, waking up in scenic places and discovering hidden gems off the beaten path. Our route started and ended in Tokyo, and included iconic cities like Kyoto, Osaka, and natural highlights like Mount Fuji, Ago Bay, Nara, Kanazawa, and the majestic Japanese Alps, all seamlessly connected by the world-famous Shinkansen bullet trains.

Japan exceeded all our expectations. It is a country that inspires, humbles, and fascinates at every turn. And even though our journey was carefully planned, we left knowing there is still so much more to discover. We will return, hopefully sooner rather than later.
